Creating an environment where children feel safe and encouraged to communicate their needs and their thoughts will give them a sense of acceptance and the self-confidence to continue developing these skills. Adults will learn how to have positive, clear, and emotionally developed conversations with children to initiate an understanding that will encourage children follow the lead of the adult. Staff will learn about different communication styles and how to use each style to benefit the learning space.
