Many challenging behaviors result from children being in the early stages of developing self-regulation. This workshop teaches participants how to teach and support self-regulation in their classrooms and homes. Participants will learn how to go beyond "putting out fires" and feeling overwhelmed to having a confident approach to guiding children. The facilitator will explain tools and strategies from the behavior programs of Conscious Discipline, Positive Discipline, and Center on Social and Emotional Foundations for Early Learning.
