Learning to Emotionally Regulate Using Spots of Emotions-Virtual

Join us for an engaging session led by an Occupational Therapist, designed to help child care providers incorporate the use of Spot of Emotions curriculum to assist in co-regulation strategies and big emotions. This training will provide knowledge regarding emotions related to a “spot”, ideas to teach and incorporate these spots into daily activities, as well as additional strategies to support emotional learning and regulation in young kids.

• Understanding emotions and regulation 
• Spot of Emotions key concepts
• Activities and practical strategies to incorporate Spots in the classroom 
• Signs that may indicate further social emotional concerns and when to consider Early Intervention Referral/Occupational Referrals
