high-quality, early learning opportunities. The 16 Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R)
agencies serve as regional hubs across all 102 Illinois Counties, ensuring that families receive
the support they need, providers have the tools to succeed, and communities benefit from
strong partnerships.
CCR&Rs are local and adaptable, bringing together public and private partners to increase
accessibility, affordability, and quality of care for every Illinois family. Through strategic
initiatives, CCR&Rs deliver services to three primary groups: Families, Early Childhood
Education & Care Providers, and Communities, creating a ripple effect of impact that
strengthens the state's workforce and economy.
