Supporting Children’s Emotional Development with Concepts from “A Little SPOT of Emotion”

Using concepts inspired by A Little SPOT of Emotion, participants will explore simple strategies for teaching emotional awareness, supporting self‑regulation, and creating an environment where children feel safe expressing their feelings. Through hands‑on activities and discussion, educators will learn how to integrate these ideas into daily routines, circle time, and play.

*All participants will receive materials to support implementation in their classrooms or programs, including emotion‑focused visuals and resources they can use directly with children and implementation support will be available.
