Building Social Skills in Young Children Using Concepts from "A Little Spot"

This workshop bridges the gap between recognizing emotions and actually managing them.  Participants will explore what self-regulation looks like in preschool-age children, why some children struggle more than others, and practical in-the-moment strategies for co-regulating alongside children when big feelings show up.  Rooted in brain development basics and grounded in everyday child care practice.
