Participants will explore developmental domains —cognitive, language, physical, and social-emotional—and examine the importance of play, nutrition, and developmentally appropriate practices in fostering healthy growth. The training addresses strategies to prevent and control infectious diseases, maintain effective health records and policies, and safely administer medications. Key topics include child wellness, allergy prevention and response, Shaken Baby Syndrome, and Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. Participants will also learn to identify and manage common indoor and outdoor hazards, handle hazardous materials safely, and develop emergency plans for natural and human-caused events.
